Position SummaryBlack Meadow Landing is seeking a reliable,

hands-on Maintenance Technician

to support the daily upkeep, repair, and overall care of resort facilities, equipment, and grounds. This role is essential in maintaining a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for our guests, residents, and staff.

The ideal candidate is dependable, service-oriented, and comfortable working independently while responding to a variety of maintenance needs in a fast-paced resort setting.

Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesPerform general maintenance and repair work throughout resort buildings, rental units, and common areasTroubleshoot and repair plumbing, electrical, mechanical, carpentry, and irrigation systemsComplete assigned work orders in a timely, accurate, and professional mannerAssist with landscaping support, grounds maintenance, trash removal, and general property cleanupMaintain cleanliness and appearance standards across the resortSupport preventative maintenance of equipment, facilities, and infrastructureSafely operate hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipmentRespond to maintenance emergencies and urgent operational issues as neededWork collaboratively with other departments to support guest satisfaction and resort operationsFollow all company safety policies, procedures, and standardsPerform additional duties as assignedQualificationsPrevious maintenance or facilities experience preferred (resort, property management, or similar environment a plus)Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and general repair workAbility to troubleshoot issues and complete repairs independentlyStrong communication and customer service skillsAbility to prioritize tasks and manage time effectivelyDependable, self-motivated, and detail-orientedAbility to work weekends, holidays, and occasional overtime as neededRequirementsValid driver's license with reliable transportationAbility to work in outdoor environments and varying weather conditionsPhysical RequirementsMust be able to lift up to 50 poundsFrequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, climbing, and reachingAbility to work indoors and outdoors for extended periodsCapable of working above shoulder level when neededBenefitsMedical, Dental, and Vision InsurancePaid Time OffHoliday PayFree RV Site if living on site (employee pays electric)About the RoleThis is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work, problem-solving, and being part of a team that takes pride in maintaining a beautiful resort environment.
