Responsibilities

• Conduct complex analyses on pricing under reserving, and assess the impact of external changes on the business
• Gather and clean data to ensure accuracy and readiness for analysis
• Perform data analysis, conduct rate reviews, and recommend changes to insurance products
• Collaborate with various teams to provide actuarial support and project updates
• Stay informed on industry developments, trends, and emerging actuarial methods

Qualifications

• BA/BS in statistics, mathematics, actuarial science, or a related area
• At least 4 years of experience in statistical and actuarial analysis for personal lines pricing insurance
• Completion of 4 or more actuarial exams
• Proficiency in programming languages such as SQL, R, Python, or Radar
• Strong analytical and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Computer software programming skills
• Proven problem-solving and critical thinking abilities
• Effective team leadership and communication skills
• In-depth knowledge of the actuarial industry and insurance marketplace
