Join our team as a Senior Data Engineer in Falls Church, VA.

Pay: Up to $74.50/hr.

Schedule: 100% Remote or Hybrid work arrangement, with occasional visits to the office.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and optimize large?scale ETL data pipelines using AWS Glue, Python, and PySpark.
• Develop and maintain data warehouses, ensuring strong data modeling, governance, and quality practices.
• Implement and enforce data validation, cleansing, and security measures to ensure accuracy and reliability.
• Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and business teams to deliver scalable data solutions.
• Support and troubleshoot Amazon Redshift environments, optimizing performance and resolving data issues.
• Create technical documentation and best?practice guides for internal and customer use.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science or related field.
• 8+ years of experience in data engineering and large?scale data system design.
• 5+ years of experience building ETL pipelines with AWS Glue, Python, and PySpark.
• Strong SQL skills with Oracle, SQL Server, and Redshift, including query optimization and performance tuning.
• Deep understanding of data warehousing, data modeling, and governance principles.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala.
• Experience with tools like Apache Airflow, Kafka, Fivetran, and cloud?based data solutions.
• Preferred: experience with Dataiku, Power BI, Tableau, or Alteryx, plus AWS certifications.
