Supervisor, Inside Sales (Remote)

Description:

Be among the first 25 applicants: The Inside Sales Supervisor is responsible for progressing customers from awareness to successfully starting on Omnipod and, where required, additional delegated lead duties.

The ideal candidate will resolve escalated customer contacts, manage existing andnew processes, discover and implement continuous improvement opportunities through data analysis and project management. They must demonstrate strong sales results, business acumen, ability to learn complex technical material (healthcare/diabetes preferred), and excellent communication and interpersonal skills. The candidate will work effectively in a key cross?functional role with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring a positive patient experience while consistently focusing on closing the sale.

Responsibilities

  • Promote and sell Insulets products to prospective customers and make outbound calls to patients interested in the Omnipod System.
  • Handle inbound calls from patients generated through Healthcare Professionals offices or marketing programs.
  • Answer customer inquiries about the Omnipod product and competitive comparisons using a broad understanding of product benefits.
  • Collaborate with customer operations and field sales teams to convert leads to shipped customers.
  • Provide frequent feedback and suggestions to support continuous process improvement.
  • Perform a broad range of complex sales and service?related duties and administrative tasks.
  • Coordinate and monitor day?to?day operations for the Inside Sales Omnipod Specialists team, serving as the main escalation point for customer questions or issues and managing processes.
  • Define, manage, and implement enhancements to processes and systems to refine the Inside Sales structure.
  • Prepare daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly reports.
  • Provide coaching and feedback in accordance with manager requirements.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Education & Experience
  • Associates degree.
  • Minimum 2 years experience in an inside sales or contact center environment.

Preferred Skills and Competencies
  • Bachelors degree.
  • Experience coaching colleagues in a team environment to improve selling and technical skill level.
  • Strong selling skills and objection handling; ability to genuinely relate to customers and address their needs to achieve positive outcomes.
  • Strong focus on results and achievement of objectives.
  • Self?motivated and able to work autonomously in a professional manner.
  • Highly developed sense of integrity.
  • Demonstrated strong decision?making, organizational and prioritization skills.
  • Energetic, motivated, positive, and passionate.
  • Flexibility in hours and ability to work independently and within a team.
  • Expert knowledge of diabetes and insulin pumps.
  • Solid analytical and technical skills.
  • Experience with Salesforce system.

Physical Requirements
  • Ability to work overtime to meet business objectives.
  • Requires sitting and standing in a normal office environment.
  • Manual dexterity needed for using a computer keyboard.
  • Minimal business travel as needed.


Remote / Flexible

This position is eligible for 100% remote working arrangements; may also work hybrid on?site/virtual as desired.

Compensation

The US base salary range for this full?time position is $54,825.00 $82,237.50.
